Team AIGETOA met Member Services, Dr. Mahesh Shukla at Bhopal in continuity of previous meeting and held detailed discussion on E2-E3 Scale and submitted detailed letter on the subject. Member Services listened the arguments after going through the content of letter and enquired some points on the issue. The Team apprised each and every detail on the issue and Member Services assured to take up the matter at DoT after return to Delhi. AIGETOA Team will follow up with him in the DoT @ New Delhi also.

The Annual General Body Meeting of AIGETOA CTD Circle was conducted successfully as per the schedule on 6th Aug 2022.
The election of the new governing body of CTD Circle carried out as per the provisions in presence of CHQ Observer Sh Deepak Kumar Sahoo VP, AIGETOA CHQ.
The following Circle Body was elected for the next three years tenure of AIGETOA CTD Circle Sh Dinesh Roy, Sh Sayantan Sikder & Sh Arvind Shukla were elected as Circle President, Circle Secretary and Circle Finance Secretary respectively.
GS AIGETOA writes to Director HR for enhancement of posts of PPS (Principal Private Secretary) at BSNL Corporate Office.
GS AIGETOA CHQ writes to Director HR BSNL in response to suggestions called by SR Cell on the allotment of office space and residential accommodation to the Associations and Unions of BSNL. GS also writes about one more suggestion called on the subject of partial modification in facility of immunity from transfer to recognised and support Association.

On 6th Aug 2022, AIGETOA MP team Shri Devendra Saini CS, Shri Vinit Sinha CFS, Shri Anil Khosle ACS and Shri K G Garhpandey DFS met Dr. Mahesh Shukla, Member Services to GOI on his visit to Bhopal and had a very healthy discussion on various issues pertaining to BSNL and telecom as a whole. He elaborated about the vision of government and the revival package provided. He stated that planning for 4G should start now only w.r.t. space, transmission etc. He also apprised that BSNL is doing good in FTTH segment.
Further, the team highlighted the issue of E2-E3 Standard Pay Scale, which is pending at the level of the DOT. He shown positive gesture regarding this and had assured that he will do the best possible and invited the leaders once again with all documents after a week time as he has joined the position of Member (Services) very recently and needs some time to settle.
AIGETOA writes to the CMD BSNL for incorporating the provision of educational qualification for AGM equivalent grade promotion in Telecom Stream as per the clause 1(b) of Schedule – IA of BSNL MS RR dated14.07.2009, which states about qualification provisions in AGM/DE Promotion under Selection cum Seniority Quota.
